Wan Mohd Firdaus Wan Mohd Fuaad

Wan Mohd Firdaus Wan Mohd Fuaad was previously the UKEC Chairman in 2005/06 and 2006/07 where he revived UKEC as a student movement and launched projects such as the UKEC Careers’ Fair, Projek Amanat Negara IV and the 1st Malaysian Student Leaders’ Summit. He was also previously Politics Officer to the Federation of Students Islamic Societies (FOSIS) and the representative of Nottingham University to the National Union Of Students (NUS).

Hailing from Pasir Mas, Kelantan, Wan Mohd Firdaus completed his Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia at Sekolah Menengah Agama Persekutuan (SMAPK) Kajang in 2000. Later, upon graduating with a LLB Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nottingham, he was then admitted to Lincoln’s Inn, London and later called to the Bar in 2007.

Wan Mohd Firdaus is currently the Special Officer to the Chairman of the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA), the federal-state authority which manages the multi-billion ringgit Iskandar Development Region (IDR) in south Johor.
